Medal of Honor Memorial Campaign

What: The Medal of Honor Memorial will pay tribute to approximately 40 area recipients of the U.S. government’s highest award for military gallantry and sacrifice. It will be the centerpiece of the developing Honor Park that will recognize all area veterans

 

Where: Adjacent to the Third Street Bridge, diagonally across from the Wright B. Flyer III sculpture at W. Third Street and Edwin C. Moses Blvd., the Gateway to Wright Dunbar.

 

When: $1.5 million are being raised now for construction of the memorial and park in 2024.
